On January 29, 2024 the Secretary of Commerce announced the allocation of $42
million appropriated by Congress for fishery disasters to support fisheries, industries,
subsistence users, and fishing communities affected by the fishery disasters that occurred
between 2017 and 2022.
ADFG developed criteria for distribution that was concluded last year. ATA weighed in during
this process for the benefit of the troll fleet. The final criteria can be found in here, mostly on

Trollers were allocated just over $2m. ATA anticipates the applications will be available to
trollers and their 2020 crew any day now. It will be good to check this site for posting:
