Call for ATA 2026 Board Nominations – Alaska Trollers Association

The Alaska Trollers Association is accepting nominations to fill many vacancies on the Board of Directors. You must be a current member to nominate and vote in the election, so be sure your dues are current; you may send payment with your nomination form.

NOMINATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED OR POSTMARKED by OCTOBER 1, 2026.

Powertrollers nominate and elect Powertrollers, and Handtrollers nominate and elect Handtrollers. Legal spouses of troll permit holders may serve on the ATA Board provided their spouse doesn’t serve simultaneously. All nominees must be ATA members by the time ballots are sent out in mid-October.

Please do not hesitate to nominate others, or yourself, for any seat on the ballot, even if someone is currently serving. Some members have served many terms and are interested in stepping down. Seats on this year’s ballot:

Serving on the ATA Board is an opportunity to help guide the Association, advocate for Alaska’s troll fishery, and represent the interests of your fellow members. We encourage members to contribute their time and experience and consider serving on the board, or nominating another eligible member.
