ATA is working with the University of Alaska Fairbanks researcher Dr. Tyler Hennon to gather water column temperature, salinity and chlorophyll data in the inside waters of Southeast Alaska. We are soliciting fishermen interested in helping to take samples in specific locations once a month. The map below shows the stations sampled. Currently Stations 2-6 have consistent coverage and we are specifically looking for fishermen in the Ketchikan, Wrangell, Juneau, Hoonah, Pelican or Elfin Cove areas who might cover the rest. Station locations can be adjusted based on easier accessibility but once adjusted they must remain consistent. There is compensation of $200 per sample for your efforts.
