The open seats for nominations are:
- One of the Sitka seats vacated by Matt Lawrie of Sitka, currently held by Jeff Favour
- The Juneau seat currently filled by Ken McGee of Juneau
- The Wrangell seat currently filled by Brett Stillwaugh
- The second Sitka seat recently vacated by Tad Fujioka currently held by Jacquie Foss
- The Northern Rural seat currently filled by Jim Moore (until recently from Haines)
- The Southern Rural seat currently filled by Tim O’Connor of Craig.
